The urgency of these discussions was underscored by a recent incident where a Russian drone strike reportedly inflicted damage on a spent nuclear fuel storage facility near the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Despite the attack, Ukrainian authorities confirmed that radiation levels remained stable and the ensuing fire was swiftly managed.
