In a significant development for Türkiye’s defense sector, five Turkish defense firms have secured spots in the 2026 global Top 100 defense companies list. This achievement underscores the country’s expanding capabilities in defense manufacturing and exports. Leading the Turkish cohort, ASELSAN ascended to 40th place, improving on its previous ranking of 43rd. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) claimed the 48th position, while ARCA Defense made a notable entrance at 53rd. Roketsan advanced to 64th from 71st, and MKE took the 81st spot.
Collectively, these five companies amassed around $14.9 billion in defense revenues during 2025. ASELSAN achieved the highest revenue among them with $4.46 billion, followed by TAI with $3.65 billion. ARCA Defense, a newcomer to the list, generated $3 billion, while Roketsan and MKE reported revenues of $2.37 billion and $1.42 billion, respectively. These figures reflect the robust growth and international appeal of Turkish defense products.
Türkiye’s defense industry has been on an upward trajectory, driven by increasing global demand for its military electronics, aerospace technologies, missile systems, ammunition, and other advanced defense technologies. The industry’s expansion has bolstered Türkiye’s standing in the global defense market, as evidenced by the latest rankings.
